LCHC Pharmacy, an in-kind service of Duke Regional Hospital, is a nationally recognized leader in patient safety and clinical pharmacy services.
Our highly trained technicians and up-to-date technologies help ensure prescriptions are filled accurately.
Our pharmacists are medication experts. They conduct quality checks to ensure patients are safe from drug interactions or reactions, and provide counseling to patients on all new medications.
Who Do We Serve ?
LCHC Pharmacy is not a public pharmacy. We only fill prescriptions prescribed by LCHC/ PADC providers for registered LCHC patients. LCHC Pharmacy accepts Medicaid, Medicare Part D, and private health insurance for medications on our formulary.
Pharmacy Hours
Pharmacy is opened Monday – Friday (9:00am-5:30pm), except Tuesday (9:00am-7:30pm).
The pharmacy is closed from 1:00pm to 2:00 pm for lunch Monday through Friday.
The pharmacy is closed on Saturday and Sunday.
LCHC Pharmacy is a busy pharmacy averaging 800 prescriptions a day. New prescriptions should be in the pharmacy one hour before closing to ensure same day filling. Refill medications may be picked up by 5:30pm daily or 7:30pm on Tuesdays.
24 Hour Medication Refill Request Service
Patients may request a medication refill anytime by calling 919-956-4056. You will be asked to enter your prescription number . If you have no refills remaining, then you will have the option to send a message to request a refill from your provider. Patients should call the medication refill line two working days before pick-up. Pharmacy will hold medications for five working days.
Prescriptions: Paper or Electronic ?
Your provider may hand you a printed, paper prescription OR send a prescription directly from his/her computer to the pharmacy. Either way you should go the pharmacy’s WELCOME WINDOW to request that the paper or electronic prescription be filled.
