Celebrating Community Partnership and Men’s Health

Jul 9, 2026 | News

On Sunday, June 28th, Lincoln was invited to Mount Vernon Church to celebrate the conclusion of Men’s Health Month. During the event, Mount Vernon Church generously presented Lincoln with a $1,000 donation in support of our mission. Our Director of Operations, Tinesha Smith, shared some remarks highlighting the importance of men’s health as well as and Lincoln’s commitment to serving the men in our community.

We are incredibly grateful for our community partners like Mount Vernon Church. Their generosity and support help fuel our growth and commitment to providing primary and preventive health care in a courteous, professional, and personalized manner. We look forward to continuing this partnership and working together to build a healthier community.

At Lincoln we serve more than 35,000 patients and approximately 40% of them are men. We recognize the importance of this responsibility and remain committed to improving men’s health through comprehensive care and supportive programs, including our Prostate Support Group.

Our Prostate Support Group is tailored to men in all stages of their prostate cancer journey. In our support group, we maintain a safe, welcoming, space where individuals can connect, share experiences, and heal together. The Prostate Support group meets every 3rd Monday of the month at Lincoln Community Health Center. At Lincoln, we strive to be the bridge that helps men feel comfortable taking the first step toward a healthier future.
