Bilingual Patient Services Representative
Performs a variety of specialized analytical, interviewing and administrative work generally performed in the patient accounting section which includes direct patient contact, registering patients, updating patients records, patient intake, interacting with insurance companies, collecting and posting of patient and third party payments.
The position requires considerable skills and abilities to deal tactfully, firmly and courteously with patients or third party payers concerning payment of unpaid accounts. Numerical ability required to analyze accounts, interact with patients to establish payment plans, and prepare statistical reports. The ability to generate and present oral/written reports is required. The ability to maintain effective working relationships with supervisors and other employees is desired. The ability to understand health insurance information is also required.
High School graduation with additional courses in Business English, Business Math and accounting preferred. Two or more years of similar work experience strongly desired.
